The details.
As a small, concierge private practice, we see limited numbers of individuals. This allows us to ensure that we are truly focused on each individual working with us and can be available as needed. This also means that there is not one assessment or treatment process that fits all. Please reach out to us directly to understand what options may be helpful for you.
Do you take insurance?
Bluestone Behavioral Health is an in-network provider for Blue Cross Blue Shield. We are out of network for all other health plans. Before your first appointment, we will confirm whether we participate in your plan.
If we are out of network for your plan, you are responsible for any charges your plan does not cover. You may be able to get the same services from an in-network provider at a lower out-of-pocket cost. If you would like to seek reimbursement, we are happy to provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurer. Check with your plan about your out-of-network benefits before you begin services.
What are your rates?
Our rates vary depending on the type, length and frequency of services. We will review fees with you during your initial consultation.
You also have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your care will cost. Under the law, health care providers must give clients who don’t have insurance, or who are not using insurance, an estimate of the expected charges for their services. This includes clients who pay us directly and submit a superbill to their insurance for reimbursement.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency services, including psychotherapy and psychological or neuropsychological assessment.
You will receive your Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your scheduled service. You can also ask us, or any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.
How do I know which services are right for me?
Some people come to us knowing exactly what they need. Perhaps their child needs a neuropsychological evaluation for school, or an attorney is seeking an aid-in-sentencing evaluation for a client’s case. Other people know that they need to make a change, but are less sure of where to start. Either way, we are here for you! We’ll schedule an initial intake session to understand your needs and create a plan that is right for you. Often, we will recommend assessment to clarify any diagnoses or symptoms before beginning therapy, as this can inform what kind of treatment and services would be best for you.
How do you protect my privacy?
Your privacy is central to our work. Our Notice of Privacy Practices explains how we may use and disclose your health information, your rights over that information, and how to file a complaint. We will give you a copy before your first appointment, and you may request a copy at any time.
